Over the past 5 years, the investment sector has evolved into completely new levels. There is a steep increase in the investments on cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoins, Ethereum, Ripple, etc. Though these investments are associated with a huge risk still people are very much interested in investing.

- Lesser investment period
- Commission for transactions are very less
- Simple and intuitive
- Most popular in the current investments sector
- Investors can be anonymous
- Much secured
Drawbacks
- Investments are highly associated with risk.
- No clear prediction on the future prices of cryptocurrency
- Frequent fluctuations in the price
- Not all cryptocurrencies are accepted as a mode of payment
Conclusion
No risk No gain. I have seen many of my colleagues started investing in the well known cryptocurrencies without even having clear knowledge on it. If you are planning to invest, then day trading is one of the best options. For long period investments, I would not suggest to go with cryptocurrencies.
